Association
Benefits
Association Members are
eligible to apply for the following products.
- Major Medical/Major Hospital
- 20 to 35% non-tobacco discount and an additional 5% association
discount.
- Disability Income/Income
Replacement - initial savings of 10% to 40% versus our individual
disability plan depending on age and gender.
- Critical Illness - a
Hospital Confinement Rider is added at no additional cost which pays
$50 per day for impatient confinement for up to a lifetime maximum
of 25 days.
- Life Insurance - a special
universal life program that has simplified underwriting and a short
form application.
- A No-Cost Disability
Benefit that can waive the cost of the insurance portion of your
premium* on Universal Life coverages.
This rider provides that if the insured becomes disabled and the
disability continues for at least six months, the insurance
portion of the premium is waived.
- The AG Life and Annuity
Rider waives the surrender charges** if the owner of a life or
annuity policy to which it is attached is confined for at least
30 consecutive days in a hospital or nursing home.
- Association Cancer Plan - a
10% premium discount versus our individual cancer plan
- Pension Plans - Mutual of
Omaha will waive the normal "installation charge" for
qualified retirement plans
- Small Group Coverage - a
no-cost specific loss and injury rider is added to each policy.
- Long-Term Care - a 10%
discount on the policy premium for all Mutual of Omaha's Long Term
Care products for both association members and family members.
- Medicare Supplements
* The insurance portion of your
premium is comprised of the mortality chares and administrative fees
necessary to keep your insurance coverage in force.
** All or part of your cash withdrawal may be subject to income tax.
