Women and Company® Microenterprise Boost Program
For the third year, REAP has been selected as a local partner of the Women and Company® Microenterprise Boost Program (MBP). The program will assist low and moderate-income women microentrepreneurs across Nebraska to have a greater chance for business success through a cash award and additional business training and technical assistance.
The average award size is expected to be $2000; however, based on need, awards may range from $500 to $2500 per business. To be considered for a Women and Company MBP equity award, a woman must be a client of the REAP Women’s Business Center and be considered low or moderate-income or disadvantaged, such as a minority or person with a disability. Previous award winners are not eligible.
The 2007 equity award application deadline is March 15,
2007. You can download a copy of the boost
award application or contact a REAP Business Specialist or REAP Women’s Business Center Director
Monica Braun at 402.643.2673.
Funds for the Women and Company MBP are provided by Citigroup Foundation, parent company of Women and Company. REAP is proud to be their partner once again.
