CircleLending is a specialty loan administration company based in Waltham, Massachusetts that manages private “person to person” loans and mortgages. The company is widely regarded as a pioneer in the financial services industry for designing products and services that serve the private loan market in the U.S.

CircleLending provides everything customers need to formalize and repay private loans. CircleLending launched its first product, a variation of today’s Handshake PlusTM offering, in September 2001. Since then, CircleLending’s loan volume has been growing at over 25% per quarter, comprised of loans as small as $500 and as large as $500,000. Beginning with a focus on small businesses through the U.S. Small Business Administration's Small Business Development Center program and expanding through technology training, the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the Procurement Technical Assistance Program, the Pollution Prevention Regional Information Center, Business Training, and other programs, NBDC has touched businesses and communities throughout Nebraska. It has assisted businesses through economic distress and expansion and has enhanced the skills of thousands of people working in those businesses.

The Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP) was established as a result of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. The program was initiated to assist small businesses subject to air quality regulations, but has been expanded assist any business, large or small, address concerns regarding any of the department's programs.

Nebraska EDGE (Enhancing, Developing and Growing Entrepreneurs)

The Nebraska EDGE  is the umbrella organization for rural entrepreneurial training programs hosted by local communities, organizations, and associations. Since 1993, the Nebraska Edge has assisted more than 1,250 individuals, entrepreneurs, small business owners and their partners start and improve their businesses. Over 50 training courses have been held from Scottsbluff to Omaha, and in many communities in between.
